Wholesale of computer software
SSIC 46512. We sell licence packs and software copies to a named buyer — a store, a workshop, an office that already knows which console it will run.
What a wholesale job includes
- Name the version, the seats, and the machine the pack will sit on.
- Deliver the media or the licence file with a packing list, not a public catalogue.
- Match the pack to the console the buyer already runs.
- Hand over at the store desk. Corrections by email for thirty days.
What sits next to wholesale
A packing list, a named machine, and a short note on how the licence is applied are part of delivering the pack. When the pack on the shelf needs a programme the floor can actually run, that work is recorded separately as development of software and applications (SSIC 62011). We do not invent a third activity.
